FOX RIDGE PHYSICAL EDUCATION

The mission of St. Charles CUSD 303 Elementary Physical Education is to provide a safe, inclusive program that promotes lifelong fitness and overall well-being. Through engaging activities, students build the skills, confidence, and attitudes needed to enjoy active, healthy lives.

Tennis shoes are required on days when your child has physical education. Please check with your child to see which days they are scheduled to have their physical education class. Students have the option of leaving a pair of shoes in their cubby. No Crocs, Sandals, slides, dress shoes, or boots allowed in PE.

Sick/Injured Students: If a student is ill or has a minor injury that would require them to take a break from any physical activity, please send a note or email the Health Office.

Medical Exempt letters should be submitted if the student needs to be out of physical activity longer than three days.

St. Charles CUSD 303 Elementary Physical Education provides the foundation in developing inclusive practices along with lifelong physical, mental, and emotional skills, as well as the basic knowledge of the wellness needed to embrace a healthy lifestyle. Our curriculum, aligned with Illinois State and National Standards, serves as a guide for teachers and schools, emphasizing lifelong fitness, responsible decision-making, and a love of movement while preparing students to thrive in an ever-changing world.
